Teleradiology with a Floating Hospital Use Case

Our client needed a way to get their imaging studies to the volunteer surgeons who staff the ship and to radiologists and other specialists who collaborate with them:

Prior to Interlinx, their capabilities required a time-intensive manual process with multiple opportunities for errors. The images were uploaded to a secure web server, via ftp, by the radiology tech. The tech had to email the details to the administrative staff, then were required to download the images from the website. In addition, the images needed to be uploaded to their PACS, a request for a reading was sent.


Interlinx designed a seamless system that eliminated all those steps using by combining Machine-Learning and cloud technologies to achieve intelligent data transfer – a true ship-to-shore solution.

The Interlinx platform incorporates numerous digital devices that can be enabled to solve these types of problems, and the Interlinx team configured the platform to do exactly that.
